We’re glad to announce several new items in the ReActiveMicro Store:
The 6502, 65C02, and 65816 CPUs. Along with hard to find Apple II & II+ ICs.
In an effort to better support the Retro Community ReActiveMicro is now offering fully tested replacement CPUs for your Apple II systems, and all the hard to find and rare ICs for your Apple II and II Plus.
We now stock all three CPUs commonly used in the Apple II systems. The 6502 is found in the Apple 1, Replica 1, Apple II, Apple III, Apple II Plus, and the early Apple IIe. This is the original NMOS version of the CPU which was designed by MOS Technology. Later the CPU was revised in CMOS and the names changed to 65C02 to reflex the fabrication change and related bug fixes. These were used in the later Enhanced Apple IIe and IIc systems. Lastly, the 65816 CPU was standard in the Apple IIgs.
All CPUs are fully tested before shipping, so you’re guarantied not to receive a dead IC or one with unknown status. This can be very useful when rebuilding an old system and the current state of your CPU is unknown.
The 6502 CPU is available now for only $10.
The 65C02 CPU is available now for only $10.
The WDC 65816 CPU is available now for only $10.
We also now stock all the rare and hard to find ICs for the Apple II and II Plus. The 8T28, 8T97, 741, 8304, NE558, 9334, and 16k x 1bit DRAM are all now available. It’s never been simpler to rebuild your Apple II and II Plus!
The 8T28, sold in sets of two units, is available now for only $10.
The 8T97, sold in sets of three units, is available now for only $14.
The 741 is available now for only $5.
The 8304 is available now for only $5.
The NE558 is available now for only $5.
The 9334 is available now for only $5.
The 16k x 1bit DRAMs, sold in sets of eight units, is available now for only $18.
In the future we plan to release more items for the II and II Plus. Full replacement IC kits as well as assembled replica boards are currently in the works. We should have an official announcement in the coming weeks.
