New Store Item – Apple II & II+ Keyboard Encoder IC

We’re glad to announce a new item in the ReActiveMicro Store:
Apple II & II+ Keyboard Encoder IC

The KR3600-070, Apple Part Number 331-0931-B, is the Keyboard Encoder IC for the II and II+ keyboards. We have limited stock of this IC.

Available now for only $40.

We also are offering a rebuild and testing service for your Encoder module. If you have installed the cable backwards or suspect your Encoder module is broken you can contact Support to inquire about repair costs which include testing.

Also planned in the near future is the re-release of the SuperEncoder from Briel Computers. This new module replaces Apple’s Keyboard Encoder module and also allows use of an external keyboard.

These, and other II+ projects, are in preparation of release of the ReActiveMicro II+ Revision 7 RFI project. We plan to offer the II+ assembled and in kit form. We’re still working on what items will come standard, such as ROMs and RAM, and release price. Official announcement is planned in July. The Community will finally be able to purchase a fully working, newly produced replica. A drop in replacement, guaranteed to work out of the box and for years to come. We also plan to sell IC kits for those looking to attempt rebuild projects of their original boards.

And as always, be sure to check out our Wiki for more information on projects or for support. And be sure to subscribe to our news feed to be the first to know about our next release!
