Description
This is an upgraded replacement cable for the II and II Plus Keyboard Cable.
This cable is upgraded with a protection diode to help prevent damage to your Encode board when installing the cable incorrectly. It’s not 100% protection, and care should always be taken when installing the cable to insure Pin 1 is correctly orientated. However, this mod lends extra protection should you skip a pin when mating the cable to the motherboard.
Each end is labeled for motherboard and keyboard end. “Pin 1” is the RED stripe.
