We’re glad to announce a new item in the ReActiveMicro Store:
SuperEncoder for Apple II and II Plus from Briel Computers
The SuperEncoder from Briel Computers is designed to replace the existing encoder board. On the Apple II and II Plus the encoder board is located on the rear of the keyboard. This board is commonly lost, damaged, or missing the connection cable. The SuperEncoder allows the keyboard to be usable once again.
One of the main issues with attempting an Apple encoder board repair is the inability to find the encoder IC. The SuperEncoder allows for users to simply allow their keyboard to be usable once again.
The SuperEncoder now comes standard with reverse cable protection. Should a user incorrectly connect the cable the SuperEncoder won’t be damaged, unlike the Apple encoder board.
Available now for only $50 fully assembled. Kit will be available later this year.
